We want you to feel your personal best every day! The 5 Bridges Health & Fitness community is here to lift you up and help you along in your transformation. Grab a friend and try Zumba® or Barre for the first time — you won’t regret it.

  • Zumba®: Gym members of all ages can take part in this classic Zumba® class that combines cardio and dance moves. Let loose on both fast and slow beats while you do body-weight resistance exercises and high-intensity dances.
  • Tae Bo® Fitness: Tae Bo® works on total body fitness through martial arts techniques such as kicks and punches. During this class, you’ll perform the motions of martial arts at a rapid pace to burn calories.
  • P90X: P90X workouts offer you variety and intensity, and they range from cardio and ab work to resistance and strength training and plyometrics. This class uses Muscle Confusion™ to help you through fitness plateaus, and you can take advantage of modifications for all fitness levels.
  • Barre: Barre combines elements from ballet, Pilates and yoga and uses equipment such as a bar, free weights, exercise bands and exercise balls. All exercises are set at a slow pace, so you can build strength and flexibility without high-impact moves.
  • Hip Hop: Hip Hop’s street dance styles include breaking, locking and popping set to hip-hop or rap music. This class is a fun way to get your workout in, and it’s open to all fitness levels.
  • Insanity: This high-intensity training program is a group workout created by Shaun T. It’s a killer cardio class that you’ll jump, glide and sweat your way through.
  • Cardio Xpress: Cardio Xpress classes are 45-minute cardio-based classes, but all options offer something different, such as Cardio/Core. Classes are open to members of all fitness levels and varying goals.
  • Piloxing: This class combines Pilates moves, boxing and dance cardio into one fun session. You’ll work up a sweat while you jump, kick and dance the entire time.
  • LaBlast: Inspired by Louis VanAmstel of Dancing with the Stars, this dance-based workout is a fun, partner-free fitness program designed to burn fat and sculpt muscles. You don’t need any dance or fitness experience to have a blast.
  • Body Blast: Body Blast is a total-body, conditioning workout that hits all the major muscle groups through dumbbells, body bars, resistance tubing, the Resist-A-Ball, the Step platform and your own body weight. All moves are set to music while you build endurance, speed up your metabolism and work at your own pace.

Group Fitness Studio Senior/Boomer Classes

  • Boomer Cardio: A low impact, moderately intense cardiovascular workout guaranteed to make you move! Its easy to follow format brings back basic movement.
  • Senior Circuit: Increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with this standing circuit workout. You’ll use hand weights and other equipment for non-impact aerobic choreography. Also, we provide a chair to use for support, stretching and other exercises.
  • Senior Yoga: A yoga class specifically designed for Boomers and Seniors. This workout is a seated and standing practice with focus on the breath. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, range of movement and balance.
  • SilverSneakers® Classic: Move through a variety of exercises that increase muscle strength, range of movement and activity in daily life. Everything is set to music, and you’ll use specialized equipment for resistance. We can also provide a chair and/or standing support.
  • Boomer Step: A total body workout using the popular 4 inch “Reebok” Step or using NO STEP at all! Perform BASIC step movements up, down and over the step. Listen for safety tips and cues to improve posture and core strength. Resistance training exercises to improve strength and stretching exercises to improve flexibility complete the workout.
  • Zumba Gold®: This Zumba® class is meant for “active agers,” offering the same fun dance workouts at a lower intensity.
