Zumba® began in 1998 as a combination of rumba and jazzercize techniques. Its founder, Albert “Beto” Perez, created the class after forgetting to bring his jazzercize music to class, and instead, using the Latin tapes he had on hand. As he led his class through routines with riveting club rhythms, his class’s reception told him he had inadvertently created a hit. Beto has since turned Zumba® into a worldwide phenomenon with classes, videos and games. There now are Zumba® classes in 180 countries worldwide.
Each of our Zumba® classes is taught by a certified instructor who has extensive experience. Our instructors will encourage you throughout the class as you dance along to energetic choreography that will get your heart rate up and blood pumping.
