If you have been wondering where to find the best gym for beginners in Harrisburg, 5 Bridges Health & Fitness is your answer. We want you to feel at ease and benefit from our “Total Health” approach. Our “Five Bridges” to Total Health are Nutrition, Fitness, Recovery, Education, and Community. To enhance your beginner gym experience, our supportive team is here to show you how each aspect plays a role in moving you toward your health and fitness goals.

Here are some reasons why we’re a great beginner gym:

  • Our positive environment will make you feel comfortable. Our team can’t wait to support you and cheer you on! Everyone is welcome at any stage of their health and fitness journey. We will celebrate you just for showing up.
  • We offer a free trial to all new members. As soon as you submit your free trial form, you have access to 5 Bridges Health & Fitness. You can come at whatever time suits you and ask any questions that will support the beginning of your journey.
  • Our trainers and teachers offer a wide variety of classes. Whatever your age, fitness, or energy level on a given day, we have a full schedule of classes from Monday to Saturday that includes the right choice for you. From gentle or senior yoga to Body Blast or Cardio Core, you can take your pick. Our friendly staff can also help you with recommendations.
  • We offer a wide selection of membership plans. If you choose to try a monthly membership plan, you can familiarize yourself with our facilities and meet our trainers without the pressure of committing to a year. For those who would like to commit to an annual membership (and to your results!), a year’s access will inspire you to keep coming back.
  • Our certified trainers will create a comprehensive plan that works for your body. We are passionate about health and wellness, fitness, and strength. Working with certified personal trainers can help you stay motivated, work safely even if you have an injury, and get specific results. You can also work with a nutrition counselor if you would like support in shifting to a healthier diet.
  • You can choose what is best for you. If you would like to work on your own, that is welcome too. Just know we are always here to answer your questions, offer support, and provide recommendations when you want them. Our hours are flexible to accommodate early birds and late movers.
